How The Detoxifier Evolved To What It Has Become

The Detoxifier has had an evolution throughout the years. Starting at Nourish Cafe & Market where Chef Kimber created this first version of the drink. Using fresh squeezed organic lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, spirulina and reverse osmosis water to help their customers detox. After selling thousands of these drinks, Chef Kimber added an even more efficient version of the Detoxifier to her Cookbook, Happy Food. She added chlorella to her detoxifier because of its effective detoxifying properties. This didn’t change the flavor, but it did take the healing benefits up a notch. 


When Happiness Drinks Co. was created by Chef Kimber and Nurse Practitioner Devin, Chef Kimber wanted to make their product even better! By adding the healing and detoxifying properties of wheatgrass plus its sweeter taste, Chef Kimber knew this was the product out there of its kind! They knew they wanted the highest quality product for their consumers, so being certified organic was a must. Chef Kimber is always free of gluten, dairy, soy, corn, refined sugars, hydrogenated oils and artificial ingredients, which is why she has such a health conscious and allergy friendly following. Making this product vegan, was important to their later partners because of their vegan lifestyles. It also helps people with other allergies that aren’t always covered in Chef Kimber’s recipes. 


It may seem like we take out a lot of ingredients, but we made sure that our recipe was jam packed with nutrients while still having a great taste. Chef Kimber didn’t want any added sugar, because sugar feeds disease which would defeat the purpose of this product. So she made a lemony flavored recipe with a touch of sweetness from the wheatgrass. The feedback from our customers has been great! They love the taste and the benefits they feel!
